Promise TRM

Multidisciplinary interagency services for child victims of trafficking

The TRM project has focused on the specific needs of child victims of trafficking and exploitation.

PROMISE TRM aimed to make the justice process more child-friendly by improving the skills and capacity of those involved in dealing with cases of child trafficking and exploitation, including forensic interviewers.

The project also aimed to improve cooperation between different authorities and actors handling these cases in the Baltic Sea Region, to facilitate transnational professional exchange. Child Circle led the development of Guidance for this purpose, Creating a Cycle of Protection: Guiding principles and key considerations for developing comprehensive, child-centred cooperation to identify, support and assist trafficked children
